The Hamlet - Hampton Bays

The restaurant was just okay. The service was slow and the food was average. Why does it take 40 minutes for French toast? It baffles me. However, the ambiance of the place was lovely and clean. I enjoyed the atmosphere. One positive aspect is that customers can easily scan the menu on their phone to order.

The Hampton Bays is home to a hidden gem! The food is excellent and the service is top-notch. The lobster rolls and clam chowder are among the best in the area - they taste just as fresh and high quality as ones you would find in New England. The croque monsieur is a standout dish that takes me back to my college days in France. It is perfectly prepared! The Hamlet has quickly become my go-to spot for delicious food - I highly recommend dining here.

They really enjoyed the atmosphere, decor, and food at the restaurant. It was an ideal spot for a breakfast before heading to the beach. My partner and I loved the Anchor dish!
