Golden Corral Buffet Grill - Hampton

Normally the food is kept fresh but not this time. We went in around 3 and the food appeared to have been out for quite awhile. However the pot roast was delicious even though the mashed potatoes were not hot. As we were leaving I saw them putting out food for dinner.

I love me some greens but they need more seasoning and should be cooked thoroughly . The shrimp, fish, mac cheese were great. Chesapeake, Greenbriar location still have Hampton beat.

We had a large hungry group and wanted something quick but. It fast food with lots of variety for all the different people. Yes, there were a lot of choices but almost none of them were very good. Guess you just can’t get good food on a buffet. The steak, freshly cooked, was very good. The place was dirty but our server was pretty good.

Took my great niece there after going to a movie. She liked being able to fix her own plate. I like being able to get good food that she'll eat. When we got there they was just transitioning from breakfast to lunch. So we had a choice of both. Everything was fresh, hot delicious.

I had a great experience around 2:30 PM. The table staff were attentive, consistently refilling our drinks and clearing off our table between our trips to the buffet. Everything we tried was fresh, although I did receive a slightly old pancake, but the staff noticed and promptly prepared a fresh batch. The managers were also present in the dining area, ensuring that the food and overall appearance of the restaurant were well maintained. I really enjoyed this time of day as it wasn't too crowded yet.
