Contribuiți la feedbackMissing some ammenities. But otherwise a solid 3.5 star location. Mens room Urgently needs renovation and expansion 1st Order of Business. I was in the restroom with just one or two people and that was at MAXIMUM capacity. 0 space to move or wash hands. Mens room also has no room for trash can, very disliked. Toilet stall also needs urgent matters. One gentleman was XXL and simply had no space in the toilet stall. Event that evening also has no outdoor ambient music, or door concierge, umbrellas at the door were also broken, one had a hole in the clear vynle. Must replace, chairs on north side of dining area get wet. Lack of Overhead coverage. We had on-off rain half way through the event. Parking lot is also Poorly lit. Only takes small effort to install solar lamps or some safety feature along the property. Event ended at 1030-11pm and the outdoor parking lot was sadly pitch black...needs urgent review. Upstairs 2nd floor in the upper barn has no seating area, no entertainment value, photo op, Wooden blank floor. Notes to Management: hire a decorator and interior designer to check the final boxes and the unattended details, expand mens bathroom (Review Female restroom also). Safety outside is paramount. Larger signage would assist highway visibility and location. NJ-Highway 173 has the traffic to bring in more eyes, opportunities events. Use the tools in front of you.
We had the most incredible experience at The Farmhouse! The venue itself was absolutely stunning, and even though it was a rainy day there was still so much light that poured into the Silo room. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, receiving rave reviews from all our guests. The standout feature was the exceptional service we received. Gina, our coordinator, was a dream to work with—she made the entire planning process smooth and stress-free. Her attention to detail and professionalism truly made a difference. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to celebrate our wedding!
We recently celebrated my sister’s wedding at The Farmhouse, and it was absolutely unforgettable! Gina and her team went above and beyond, from helping me pull off a surprise for the newlyweds to ensuring my sister and her husband had everything they needed throughout the day. They guided us to some incredible photo spots and kept everyone calm, even when we were running a bit behind schedule. The bartenders were exceptionally friendly and professional, and the food was delicious. The drinks, especially the smoked Old Fashioned, were unique and memorable—I’ve been craving another one ever since! I highly recommend The Farmhouse as a venue for your wedding or next event.
The Farmhouse is undeniably a picturesque venue, nestled in a serene countryside setting that promises a dreamy backdrop for any wedding. However, our experience with the venue's management and staff left much to be desired, overshadowing what could have been a perfect day. From the outset, the planning process proved challenging and frustrating. We encountered a significant turnover in coordinators, with three different individuals managing our event within the span of just 8 months. The initial coordinator promised the world but underdelivered, setting unrealistic expectations that left us scrambling to readjust plans as subsequent coordinators came and went. The final coordinator, though well-meaning, lacked the necessary experience and confidence, leading to poor communication and delayed responses to our inquiries. One of the major disappointments was the discovery of a newly constructed structure on the property, which was booked without our knowledge despite signing a contract that stipulated exclusivity for one wedding per day. It was evident that resources and attention were diverted to this new area, reflected in its superior decor and staffing compared to our designated wedding space. During the event, the professionalism of the staff continued to decline. The Maître D, George, was visibly intoxicated, stumbling and slurring his words by the end of the night. This unseemly behavior was not only unprofessional but also reflected poorly on the venue's standards. The general manager, Andrea, demonstrated shocking rudeness by openly berating both the mother of the bride and the bride and groom in front of guests. This kind of behavior is utterly unacceptable and tarnished what should have been a joyful occasion. Furthermore, the food service was another area of disappointment. Menu options we had selected, such as steak and salmon, apparently ran out during dinner service, leaving a table waiting for chicken that arrived an hour later than scheduled. This lack of organization and foresight added unnecessary stress to an already fraught evening. While The Farmhouse boasts a stunning location, the experience we had due to mismanagement and unprofessional behavior by staff was deeply disappointing. For such an important day, the venue's inability to deliver on basic promises and maintain professional standards was profoundly disheartening. Potential customers should proceed with caution and consider these shortcomings before booking their special day at The Farmhouse.
Amazing location we were there for a wedding Nice property, easy parking. The kitchen does a great job as well. The appetizers were awesome beautiful antipasti spread with artisanal cheeses, veggies and crackers. The American Comfort Food stations took away the prize, IMO. Chicken and waffles, yummy BBQ pulled pork with slaw, amazing Mac and cheese, sliders, plus passed hors d’oeuvres everything was delish. The location has a large banquet hall and outdoor seating. And finally the people they were polite, smiling and on point. Overall a great experience.
