Contribuiți la feedbackI've been to beni shoga twice. the tasting menu (9 courses for £35 per head) is a great starting point for people who are not sure what I had to order I had visited the first time. the second time I ordered a la carte and was again very impressed by the quantity and quality of the food. the kimchi and schweinegyoza were a special highlight, as the coconut ice mochi desserts. there is a sushi menu that I did not try for this occasion. I would recommend either from their cheap reasons for someone who (as I) is a willing noviz. her cocktail menu is delicious, but expensive. the beer selection was quite standard for an Asian fusion compound, and I didn't look especially at the weelist so I can't comment. service was excellent at both places, although the second time that I went, it was a bit slow as we made at the far end of the room, away from the bar and kitchen. However, the free Lychee sauce with dessert more than for it! I'm not sure it's happening every time, but it's both happening paints I was in. also at the second time when I went the bill, it was about £35 per head including drinking money for three courses and drinks, although we did not go for the cocktails that I consider to be the key.
I live in chesea and my partner and I decided to go to beni shoga for dinner, that eating was fabulous we especially loved the hot sushi reels (tower bridge reel) the rock prawn tempura the lachs tacos, wagyu rindfleisch tataki with truffle oil and the bagel battle reel, for whisper we had a scummy takos the giant wein was at a great price after my taste. the service was excellent and the owner at the end of our meal gave us a sake on the house, great hospitality, great eating, great atmosphere, great worth and will soon be again. great job youngs!
My wife and my first time in this restaurant. interesting mix of Japanese and western decor, beautiful art work and well presented menu with a lot of choice. we chose the 9 course sharing menu for £35 each! surprisingly good weinlist and at the end a pot of superbitter not listed on their main wine menu. a beautiful dinner and friendly staff. in any case, it is worth eating here if we are in london. Thank you. beni shoga.
Very nice food, good cocktails and friendly service.
1. Great food. 2. Service was very very attentive, but unfortunately food turnaround was slow. 3. Excellent selection of Sake's and authentic Japanese spirits. Creative cocktail menu. 4. Creative and interesting sushi varieties. 5. Relaxed and comfortable dining with very agreeable ambience 6. Would be amazing if incorporated more of the true Japanese izakaya concept. Will definitely go back!
