Contribuiți la feedbackThis restaurant is amazing! The sushi rolls are always fresh and the sashimi is top-notch. Some people may think raw fish is no big deal, but the quality of the fish here is exceptional. I have visited this restaurant six times and each experience has been wonderful. The staff are incredibly friendly, making it the best sushi train I have ever been to.
Delicious!!! Clean, fabulous decor. Just had a great lunch there with friends who could hardly stop eating!. Love this place because the revolving plates of sushi are so artistic and the decor is uber chic but feels cosy. Staff are lovely and it is clean. I think negative reviews on this site might be from competitors as Sushi Revolution is usually busy, particularly in summer. Lots of Asians eat there, which is a real acid test for an Asian restaurant and everyone always looks happy as they tuck in. I was in there a few nights ago and a young man started to abuse the staff because he said they sent his pizza cafe bankrupt. So there you go. <br/ <br/ Sushi Revolution has some quite original sushis, so it's a good idea to ask what all the elegantly presented little morsels are as they whizz by, so you know what you are getting. <br/ <br/ The place is classy. They have caviar on a lot of the sushis, which I love. One sushi is just caviar piled up above neat cylinders of seaweed wrapped rice. Also, there a few types of sushi with drool, smoked salmon. My favourite is smoked salmon with red onion. The raw salmon and tuna is ultra fresh, which is what quality sushi is about fresh clean tastes of the sea above soft rice with the contrast of the dry seaweed. Also whizzing by is teriyaki chicken with salad in a sesame dressing in rice paper rolls... And tempura prawns are cooked in really nice clean tasting oil. Then there is the fresh edamame or fresh soybeans deliciously salted and addictive. <br/ <br/ If you want to order off the menu I recommend the karagge (karr are gay) chicken. This is fried chicken Korean style and so v.v.v. delish. V. light and clean tasting because of the high quality oil used. Prawn gyoza (or dumplings) are prawns in crescent shaped steamed rice paper parcels. The seafood udon is to die for mussels, prawns, fish sticks and bok choi in a Korean sauce with ingredients the staff refuse to give out. This sauce is really marvellous with the seafood and noodles. Then there is miso soup... it's great stuff and as Koreans and Japanese live so long on this you know it's healthy, so how good is that?
Better than expected I .... Better than expectedI was hesitant about trying sushi revolution because I did read negative reviews here. However, after walking up and down beaumont street and perusing all the other offerings, aesthetically this place was the clear winner. Unlike others, I found the staff is lovely and helpful. The food was yummy but the music is too loud. Overall I enjoyed it and would reccomend it.
Service is above excellent, greeted with a smile upon entry, I always dine in, directed to a table with friendly professional customer service, after first visit I become a regular, the chefs are always busy but never to busy to say hello and ask if I would like something made or ordered (omg the crab claws!!!! So yummy), always a great variety available on the sushi train, fresh, tasty and fascinating to watch chefs make them and so effortlessly, my favourite is the cats the blow torched sauce on the top wow.
The staff at this restaurant is really friendly. The sushi was delicious, but it would have been even better with a bit more variety.
