Fortunate Son - HAMILTON SOUTH

Highly recommend this place. The staff are very friendly, the food and coffee are excellent. We ordered green eggs and ham (I'd order this again and again), BLT and the smoked trout. We also forgot our baby's toy giraffe despite the staff rushing out looking for us but they kept it for us to pick up the next day.

What this place lacks in atmosphere it makes up for with great coffee and friendly folk serving. The breakfast menu has more than just eggs with everything. The cycling crowd have made this place their regular - sure sign of coffee quality!

Very impressive menu and a fine dining experience to be relished. Wine list is extensive and rather expensive but of high quality. Very helpful and friendly staff.

This is our popular haunt to catch up with our "old" riding group and partners and while it is never often enough we can always trust fortunate son to put on a great breakfast and fantastic service so it is always fun to have great food, great service and great friends to share it with.

We decide to have a pre-Christmas dinner at the Fortunate Son restaurant and we were very happy we did. We got them to put together a vegetarian degustation dinner for the 4 of us and each dish was delicious. If you do want a vegetarian degustation, make sure you order it before hand, their regular degustation is not all vegetarian. You won't be disappointed
