Forgot to add. The staff are awesome friendly and super attentive. Full bar and huge capacity. 08 Sep, 2012 A bustling steak house with the best steak I've tasted. Each steak includes a loaded baked potatoe and any sauce you like. The 39.00 scotch filet is outstanding. Sound expensive? Don't come to the island!!

As for the food quality, it was very average considering the prices. The steak was acceptable, but nothing else on the menu was worth ordering. Additionally, the staff served half of the main dishes before the rest arrived, which was frustrating. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.

I love the bands! Price: 6, Service: 8, Food: 10, Atmosphere: 10. The ribs were fantastic, and the sunset view by the harbor was absolutely spectacular!

I'm a huge steak lover. Two years ago, I visited Hamilton Island when the steakhouse was located in its previous spot, and we absolutely loved it—we probably ate there five times during our ten-night stay. Now, we're back on the island for our honeymoon and decided to host a pre-wedding dinner at the new Sailing Steakhouse. Unfortunately, the experience was rather underwhelming. They used to serve Angus beef, but this time it tasted more like low-quality supermarket meat. Instead of the rich flavor that comes from grilling, it had a burnt taste as if it was cooked over a flat grill rather than real charcoal. I ordered my steak medium rare, but it arrived medium well. Overall, it was quite a disappointing meal. It’s a shame because I had high hopes based on my previous experience...
