Staropolskie Delikatacy -  Hamilton,

Went in to pick up a couple of sandwiches for lunch (good, filling and not expensive). Staff were preparing a tray of canapés. They looked delicious. I was given a sample and it tasted as great as it looked.

This is what a 10$ meal looks like at Staropolskie 4 perogies and a cutlet. That's 5$ for a cutlet and 1$ per perogi. They not even fried just boiled. Used to be a good place to get a nice meal at a fair price but sadly not anymore.

I had a sausage on my way to Ti-cat game and someone told me I could buy them here. We popped in and a really nice lady behind the counter let us sample the sausages. They were incredibly tasty and I bought a bag to bring home which was very reasonably priced. I live a long way away but I will make the effort to go there and buy those sausages again. We also took home some homemade sauerkraut which was really good also.

Best Polish hot food counter in the city. Lovely deli and fresh pastries.

I used to go here alot when I work by Dofasco in the 90's. Best value and quality for mixed Sammy. I have stopped by about 10 times in the last year and each time the bread is so stale. Used to be so fresh every time. My last Sammy last week was so stale I couldn't even eat it. So sad and I gave it so many chances. I will be looking for new deli.
