The Beverly on Locke - Hamilton

Excellent ambience and menu that offers items slightly different than everywhere else with reasonable prices. I had the mole tacados and it was delicious! They serve fresh pressed coffee that was also excellent. Service was great, super friendly waitstaff. We sat on the back outdoor patio. Loved it!

Although we were unable to sit at the patio, we probably preferred the AC on a humid day. This small menu is rightly sized to offer every guest a perfect meal, with drinks to match. We enjoyed the atmosphere, as well as seeing the owner working the floor with the team. Her spirit and personality of love really showed how much the team care for food, friends, and the family of staff. The aesthetic was amazing, and definitely enhanced the culinary joy we had!

Been there three times in the last three months. Last one on marvellous patio. Incredibly innovative chef. Real foodie destination. I’ve had three different entrees, as I am always adventurous. My wife has had Eggs Blackstone each time, as she loves it.

Recommended by my lunch companion, I wasn't even aware of this place. We were seated on the back patio, which is accessed by a winding walk through the house. The patio was lovely and private, and nicely shaded which was a blessing as it was a hot day! Service was very punctual, and the waitress took time to explain the special in detail, and also explained how anything on the menu could be modified to be vegetarian.We both had the Eggs Blackstone, which was heavenly! The biscuit and tomato jam were incredibly flavourful. I could probably do a whole plate of the maple spice bacon: thick cut, sweet, but with just the right amount of kick. The potato croquette had wonderful texture and was very tasty.We couldn't do drinks but will go back to try at another point: their prosecco concoctions looked intriguing! So we had dessert: strawberry shortcake made with a marvellous scone, and a lemon tart that was to die for! The coffee is served in a French press, and comes with a timer so you know when it's ready for plunging!Really enjoyed this, and will return for sure to try the other menu items.

My daughter took me out for brunch. We chose to sit on the patio (courtyard). It was busy as it was Canada Day weekend but service was good, food was good, atmosphere was nice. Servers were very friendly and attentive.
