One Duke Restaurant & Lounge - Hamilton

The music is on point...I request the playlist every time. Only place I've ever been that I can eat unbreaded calamari. Try the grilled calamari! If you're not a beer drinking try the One Duke Lager...it will change your opinion of beer! Jerry is also the best mascot to come visit.

I went to One Duke last weekend while I was visiting Hamilton for the weekend and I wish I could pick up this bar and move it to Ottawa!! It's the kind of place that you feel comfortable being in. I thought was a fantastic idea, is that if you're out on the patio and are cold, they have blankets for you!! Food was amazing. We were a group of 4 and all had something different so we sampled off of each other. I was talking to one of the owners about a drink I had when I was in college and he completely replicated it for me!! I definitely recommend going there!! The renos are awesome and the artwork is amazing. Go and eat and drink here!!

Have not had a dish I have not liked. Loved the fish tacos and the service is great. Shay is a great server and always kind, friendly and makes sure you are always taken care of. Even the simple things as checking your water is never empty.

The moment you enter you get a great sense of calm and welcome. The atmosphere feels smooth and comfortable as the great taste of music plays in the background. Sports games included. The staff are incredibly kind and accomodating. I asked if they made particular cocktails. I had hoped for a long island and she was able to make me one. The no fuss attitude and smiles were a pleasant change compared to other places I've been to. I ordered the chicken wing and fries dinner and as a huge chicken wing connoisseur, I was very impressed. Well dressed in your choice of sauce (plenty to choose from) lightly breaded but still able to get a juicy cook without overdrying the chicken. Well done! The fries done deliciously seasoned was a nice add on. I most definetly will be returning in the future and recommend One Duke to everyone.

My favourite spot to eat!! The food is out of this world! Service is always fast friendly. The atmosphere is cozy hip! Go eat here!
