Terrible .Beef Chow mein is a scam. only was a soy sauce drenche d bean sprouts with lil bites of beef dish, which beef was okay not complain. Hot and sour soup was nothing like I've tried before and will hopefully never try again. Also gave my spouse the nasty farts.Overall, don't recommend going. It was a bit more overprice than the place I tend to order from closer to stonechurch and upp.wellington for fewer items.

We drive 30 minutes for this take-out because it's just that good! Fresh veggies awesome variety. Not your typical heavy batter "Canadian" Chinese food. Portions are phenomenal. Live the family style dinner options, everyone gets to pick their favourite dish and rice, spring rolls and rangoons are already included. Staff is always friendly, food is always delicious, no MSG.

Why can't other Chinese restaurants make their food as tasty as Le Chinois? I don't know, but this family favourite is the one we always come back to. Portions are great and a take-away meal usually makes three meals--plus a couple of snacks--for us.

This is a small take-out restaurant but there are two tables and a small bar if you want to eat in. I was there just before noon and most people came in to order food from the 6 item buffet.I ordered à la carte from the menu. I ordered Hot and Sour Soup, Moo Shu Pork, Vegetable Fried Rice, Orange Chicken and Hunan Beef. The Hot and Sour Soup was okay but I was a bit surprised that it may have had some curry. I like curry but I've never had Hot and Sour Soup with curry before. It was interesting.The Moo Shu Pork was not properly done. The pork and the veggies should have been shredded more. The pieces were almost too big to be rolled up with the crepes. But it tasted okay.If you've never tried Moo Shu this would be a good place to try some. They have Moo Shu Vegetables, Chicken, Beef, Pork and Shrimp. Each Moo Shu comes with 6 crepes and some sauce. You have to take a crepe and put some Moo Shu on it and some sauce and roll it up like a crepe/pancake. It's similar to a soft Taco. Delicious if the Moo Shu is done right. The Orange Chicken was interesting but the Vegetable Fried Rice was sub-par. The restaurant doesn't take debit cards to be prepared. However, there is a Canada Trust three doors down.

Le Chinois near Limeridge mall is a great place for lunch.
