Gown & Gavel - Hamilton

The patio bar at this restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables. The service during our visit was excellent. The cocktails were delicious and the wings were tasty.

This restaurant is likely the top choice for dining in Hess Village for a casual night out. We enjoyed a burger and spaghetti, both of which were delicious. The food was served promptly and the servers were all very friendly. We also tried two of their frozen drinks available during the summer, which were outstanding. They were possibly the best alcoholic beverages I've ever had and reasonably priced considering the location. The only dish I wouldn't recommend is the curry, as it did not meet expectations.

The atmosphere was great! It's nice outside so we sat out by the patio. The service was great and the food was delicious! We had suicide wings (it was hot! Good hot though! But our lips were numb afterwards haha! And the burger was good too. Will come back again!

Stopped by here for a pre-dinner beverage (alcoholic for me, not so alcoholic for my momma-to-be).

Waited at least an hour for food (as did all the other tables) on a night that had about 10 tables and 4 servers.
