Neighbour Couple invited us to tag along as they went out for dinner on a Saturday night here. Heather was happy to welcome us and even thought she had just started working here she was fantastic. I had a Keiths on Draft $(5.95) and for dinner I went with the Irish Nachos $(14.95) which are tasty and exceptionally filling. It's not often that I don't finish my plate but I had to surrender after finishing about 2/3's of my meal. My partner went with the fish and chips $(13.95) and added gravy $.(75) which she quite enjoyed.I am pleased that the Neighbourhood Pub seems to be doing well, it is a welcome addition and seems to have a crew of regulars that will hopefully continue to make this place a success. It's a small thing but I like when the owner/manager takes the time to ensure that everything is good with your meal, and it was good that it happened here.

I have visited Firths on two occassions. Both nights a entertainer was on hand pleasing the crowds. One playing classic rock and there a country singer. Fish and Chips was the first dish I enjoyed upon my first visit. It was good yet not outstanding. On my second visit I had the lamb burger. this was a dynamite burger. Very tasty, the brie accentuated the flavour of the lamb. Well worth trying when you visit.

Food is usually very good, We love the Greek salad and the Home Made soups. We also enjoy their Steak Special Saturday night and the service is always great. The atmosphere is good for a pub, sometimes the TV's are too loud.
