Diner 66 - Hamilton

So great ????...goes until 11am. 2 eggs and 4 slices of bacon or 3 sausages..with delicious home fries like Grandma would make. Coffee extra. But eggs cooked perfectly. Waitresses very friendly too.

Busy fun little retro diner. Service was good, portions are large (3 eggs served with regular breakfast - could get away with 2). Great to see a little local business doing so well!

Arrived here late on a Saturday morning for breakfast. Service was good considering how busy it was. I had the special, meat lovers hash (skillet like). Tasty, nice compliment of various meats and real flat top fried potatoes. Wife had the pancakes and sausage which also included bacon. Blueberry Pancakes took up the entire plate and she could only eat half. Overall, a good breakfast. Others have complained it was a little expensive but you tend to get what you pay for when buying breakfast. We will go back.

Decided to treat myself to lunch today at the newly opened Wimpys Diner. I ordered the cheese burger and fries meal.The burger was great ,fries nice and hot.Service was very friendly. The only thing that I was dissatisfied with was the price.$17.00 plus tip .total paid was $20.00 I think this is waàaaaàaaaay too much for a cheese burger and fries. I regret to say that I wont be returning any time soon. Lower your prices and you will have people coming back again.

My wife and I had heard so much about the new Diner 66 that we decided to try it out for the first time. When we arrived on Sunday, 12/13/15, we were disappointed to find that it had changed it's name to Wimpy's just the day before. The service was prompt and courteous and the food was typical of Wimpy's fare. Nothing to rave about and the prices were a bit high. The atmosphere and the renovations were nice and the place was very busy. We had breakfast with the usual peameal bacon and eggs. The portion size was normal for the pricing with small eggs being utilized. It was a cold damp day and the restaurant was nice and warm. The clean up service was too fast and frequently since we got the impression that the servers wanted us to leave and not linger over a coffee. The parking area is very small for such a busy restaurant. The servers weren't too forthcoming when asked about the name change. I don't know if had something to do with the other 4 Wimpy's that the owner owns and his buying power affecting the Diner 66 franchise but it seemed odd that all the expense going into opening a new venue like Diner 66 and then changing it over to Wimpy's a couple of months later seems suspect.
