Big Ed's Tap & Grill - Hamilton

I have a couple of poxes for dinner. Very delicious, came with some vegetables and a selection of frits or potatoes. I had the potatoes that were good.

I was intrigued by her special dish called Mootine. It is potatoes and meatballs with cheese and gravy. I have a little one and it was pretty good. I also tried the pork chops. Probably one under advertised part of the menu they were...fantastic. Overall it was very good food, at a very reasonable price and with good service. I will definitely recommend this place and try it again.

We ordered from this restaurant to skip the dishes while we were in Hamilton. Never again. We ordered half a quesadilla that was far too expensive for how tiny it was and was overloaded with paprika and much too oily. I tried to try the mootine. That was disgusting. Instant mashed potatoes and old frozen meatballs mixed with a disgusting engraving that was guaranteed by the time it was delivered, it had the consistency of glue. We have thrown out most of the order, as it was simply completely unusable.

Have the delivery from here a few times: prices are great, food is consistently good! The most healthy thing on the menu I think is corn! Lol. But if you want to do 'bad' well, that's the place! The moo bowls are all comfort... food you can ask and easy to hold when in the couch potato position! Lol. I wish there was a way to order “pages” like Gravy: the pork chop dinner with potatoes and corn would have been raised with engraving. Potatoes are homemade (big!, pork chop can have been boiled in friteuse Cuz had it not that crispy fat would get you from flat top, frying pan or oven: but was still good if you do not feel like cooking (and the prices are great. Definitely an option if you are on a budget, feeling lazy, and want some extra cheeky comfort food for the family... it could not often be without heart action, I am sure! Lol

4 out of 5 of us loved the burgers. Two got the 1lb and it's huge both couldn't finish them. Hot dog was awesome so we're fries, poutine and onion rings. Great prices, large serving bags. Would order from again. We had a takeout order...fromSkip the Dish so don't know what service is like in the restaurant.
