A small hidden restaurant in Ochsenwerder. Extensive menu with fish dishes, but also steaks and burgers are on the map. Standard dishes are prepared reliably and appealingly. Good wine list. Cosy ambience. The service is very attentive and friendly and the boss personally takes care of the welfare of the guests. Price-performance ratio is okay. The possibility of accommodation (on certain days of the week) in converted barrels is original. Breakfast is served in the restaurant and is okay.

Our visit to the wine and Friesenstube was fantastic. The food was more than delicious it was super delicious!! The service is very nice and attentive, no wish remains open. We enjoyed the Candel Light Dinner with overnight in the barrel and can highly recommend it, you should not be so big, because the bed in the barrel is only 140x200cm (but there are also rooms on request). If you just come for dinner, we will be thrilled, we will definitely come back.

Today we have ordered 2 × goose skin and once wild goulash it has met more than our expectations. It was just mega delicious!!!! Sure not the last time.

Magnificently tasty, grounded dishes with whipped. Appropriate portions at very fair prices. Sympathetic service and absolutely quiet courtyard. The spaces visible on the street do not correspond to the tasteful design of most rooms. Very recommended for small and medium-sized occasions.
