Taverna Symposium - Hamburg

Went here with my boyfriend because friends had recommended it. We had a meat platter for two and really, really liked it. There was an appetizer plate which came with it. Ouzo before and after the meal. Very friendly service... Nothing to criticize. Just a good meal in pleasant environment. And there was A LOT of food... We could not finish it and they even offered a doggy bad. :-)

We came in the restaurant and asked for a table and ordered our food. Next to us was an empty table and there came people and a man in a wheel-chair. Nobody from the restaurant helped him to reach the table through a very close way, there was a lot of stuff to take away. Finally we helped him. When our food came the waitress told us, that the table should be free again in one our, cause there is a reservation. Well - we wanted to celebrate an event, but we did it in an other restaurant nearby with friendly people.

It was before the theater. All the dishes have tasted us well. The plates were not overloaded. Price/performance is fine. The service was attentive and friendly.
