Krug - Hamburg

Visited the Krug on a recommendation on Tuesday. An unforgettable evening! A very cozy atmosphere, with dimmed light and very romantic. Especially the service must be praised! Rarely I was served so well and friendly. It was taken time, there was a small wine tasting and we were welcomed even without reservation (which I would recommend going online only) and all the levers were set in motion to host us. The selection of drinks was very good, especially the aperitif. The appetizers (battered butter and pig ends from Duroc) were incredibly good! Perfectly tasted. The main foods (Bärlauch Gnocchi and Saltimbocca variation) were well thought out, a bit failed in the implementation. The supplement to the Saltimbocca was unfortunately only lukewarm, yet the meat was on the spot and well tasted. The gnocchi were unfortunately too oily, because unfortunately it also lacked complexity to protrude. I was rather disappointed when compared to the Saltimbocca. At the price we moved with two appetizers, two main foods and four drinks at about 115€, which I liked to pay. All in all, I would warmly recommend the Krug!

A secret tip or not). A reservation is appropriate. The card is very short and simple- 4 appetizers, 3 main dishes and 2 desserts. When we were there were beef roasts with red cabbage, roasted boulder fillet Wildfang) and a vegan maron roasted roast. The food was prepared in the open kitchen and was of the best quality. Everything without a snuck.

Very good restaurant. Fantastic service and very tasty map. There are 1 vegetarian 1 meat 1 fish dish each. We are coming back

A dream! I was here for the first time a few days ago and right now! The compositions are incredibly delicious and definitely something special! The crowning conclusion of our 3-course menu was a white chocolate mousse! Not too sweet, fluffy, it's not better!
