Jazzclub Birdland - Hamburg

Fantastic atmosphere, great music, great service. I enjoyed the live jazz karaoke party! I can't wait to come back!

Again and again the highlight of every Hamburg trip. no words for the atmosphere and the pleasure in the birdland, this backyard, cellar, self-service in the bar, the best jazz of the city .... in any other city soou very missing.

Small, intimate place to listen to music. stepped seating for good standing on the stage. large works of art famous jazz musicians line the walls. very fashionable and comfortable. we heard champian fulton trio, a great singer and pianist from new york. birdland brings the best to hamburg.

Very civilian prices for entry and drinks, enough space for good sitting, small enough for a wonderful club atmosphere and a very friendly staff - the jazzclub birdland. unfortunately I do not live in hamburg, but I will certainly go back, should be in the city.

Honestly I did not expect such a great jazz concert! The club itself is nothing special: lots of wood, old-style furniture, paintings of jazz musicians on the walls, etc. Words stylish, classy, sophisticated are not applicable. Very outdated I would say, but at the same time unpretentious, relaxed atmosphere, which makes you feel comfortable and chilled. Pick the right concert and you will want to come here again. I take one star off because except of music (and it was great! have I already said that? everything was way too casual.
