After a few days of Italian food and seafood restaurant we were looking for some sort of Asian food. After a few checks on Google Map, we realized that China Feng was just a few minutes walk from where we were, so we could take a look. While... the restaurant was nothing imagination, it was a nice family restaurant and especially, most of the malls are Chinese, which was always a good sign. The menu was very authentic and there were not much sweet and sour dishes, which was often a good sign. My personal favorite was the stirring fried fish slices and Wenzhou style noodles. The amazed soup with seaweed was decent. Honestly, the quality was quite good for a non-French and non-Munich German city. I will recommend it to my Hong Kong and Chinese friends.
We went with some friends on 2nd of March 2019 to China Feng. We've ordered different soups, some dumplings, black mushroom salad and more. All three soups had been excellent, unfortunately the spicy fish soup, highly recommended by Chinese restaurant advisor, reached just place 3....the other two soups especially the soup with noodles and the cabbage fish soup is just a dream. My wife is Chinese and she can't make it better. Duck was also very tasty. It was an authentic tic experience of Chinese food
This restaurant was an accidental find whilst walking. It is tucked under a building and therefore not readily visible. We waited about 10 minutes before being seen which wasn't a great start. It went uphill from there. We ordered 2 main dishes, some prawn toast and ribs. It would have fed an army. The portions are generous, the food fresh and flavoursome and, although it took some time to get started because of a large party being catered for, the service friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. With drinks, our bill came to just under 50 Euros, so very reasonable indeed
