Whiskey Springs - Hamburg

After a long day of hiking trails ???? and sightseeing my family and I were ready for a great dinner and plenty of good drinks ???? we found both at Whiskey Springs, had myself a juicy rich flavored ribeye steak with a bittersweet old-fashioned. We all had a great time here and I'm sure you will enjoy the place just as much as we did.

Food was good, wasn?t very busy but service was slow. We waited 20 minutes for our check when we were clearly done. I finally was able to ask the woman waiting on the group next to us if she could have our waitress bring our check. They were very nice and friendly though.

I love this place! The live music on the patio on the weekend was great. The food was amazing. The grilled cheese with bacon was every bit as good as our server told us it would be. And the fries blew me away.

They don't skimp on portions! I usually don't get the Chicken tenders, but I did the other night they were hot and juicy, punched the ticket twice for me! My friend had the blue cheese Chicken salad . More chicken than salad, but he was very satisfied!

Right off I29 across from Nebraska City. A favorite go-to! We?ve eaten out on the patio for fresh air and relaxation. Indoors is comfortable with a clean rustic feel. A couple times they were low on staff, but the host told us upfront and brought our drinks quickly. Not an issue. We?re still trying different menu items when we make return visits.
