Pomodoro Italiano - Hamburg

Since the change of administration (quality of food huge dif we eat there weekly (except after the gym ymca on the street)! we have a lot of different items: antipasto salat, chix parm sandwich, meatball parm, pastrami sandwich, specialties, muscheln linguini, pizza, garlic knot, etc...and all were delicious! fresh, from scratch. smell and taste! pastrami had no fat on her and was so tasteful! brot is fresh. veggies on my salad were fresh. opened the lid and could smell the freshly grated carrots, tomatoes, cucs, meat, moz, etc. I couldn't wait to get in! lol. keep the GREAT work pomodoro!

My man had the lasagne. I did it! I had the blt panini and it was very good.

I usually get delivery from here, but I decided to try dining in. It was pretty average, not bad at all. The bread rolls for some reason were very delicious. We got zeppolis to take out and they were such a good snack. I have no complaints, I totally recommend Pomodoro.

Has anyone ever heard of being charged for a glass. of water when having dinner. This place charged for water. They never get your order right. Gave them 3 try’s. Advice don’t go

Today I visited this restaurant for the first time and ordered a lunch portion of Rigatoni Pomodoro to take away. When I got home the dish had a meat sauce with ricotta cheese on top. Pomodoro sauce is typically prepared with olive oil, fresh tomatoes and basil. It is intended to be a light sauce. When I called the restaurant they said my lunch was prepared correctly according to their recipe for pomodoro. Either the cook prepared the wrong dish and didn't own up to it or the restaurant should provide a menu description if their recipe differs that drastically from a standard preparation.
