Ja Buffet - Hamburg

What happened to this buffet??? Ownership has completely abandoned because they obviously do not have quality control at all! The fried emptyings were damped, but were hard as a steak cooked. All chicken dishes, like microwaves. My child loves French fries and he said you could build a shed with them. For what we were accused, I will not be back, EVER

I don't usually write bad reviews. But we stop here once in a while. It was over $90 for 2 adults and 3 children. The staff is super friendly. But last night there was a cockroach in the sushi! I notified the staff that they came by and they just killed it and let the sushi sit there. I know where there is food, but that was bothersome and disgusting. I don't think we're back. The food is not as big as it is used. So disappointed.

On Saturday evening for dinner stopped and the place was empty, red flag. We had to pay for meals before we sat down, which is okay, not a big deal. Now I understand why... the whole food looked like it was eating all day. The food we had chosen had the same fishy taste and just tasted. Nothing we tasted good or fresh and had to choose to eat elsewhere. Will not go back or recommend this place.

I am quite surprised by the bad reviews recently, as I had a delicious dinner on Friday! The food was hot, fresh and extremely tasty. Although I am skeptical over seafood on a buffet that is so far from the sea, it was fresh and delicious!... I love the fact that you pay before you fall over at the buffet, because if I'm ready to go, I don't have to wait until the staff brings me the review to a preset price and can just go. Or out of the door.

This was a pretty rough place. Multiple dishes tasted like they had been sitting out a long while (it's a weekend so that shouldn't be). There was a lack of variety, and of the 20-30 things we did try all but maybe 5 of them were unpleasant in one way or another. Finished out the meal with some regular chocolate ice cream, which at the end had something pretty crunchy in it. I was eating out of a BOWL. I put the thing on a napkin and it was clearly not ice cream, but something else, maybe fried? Either way, don't plan to go back again.
