J. A. Buffet - Hamburg

I always get the steamed dumplings a wonton soup and a pork Lo mein combo. JA Buffet has never disappointed me yet with these dishes. However whatever change they made to their fried rice and Lo mein is disappointing there is nearly no flavor to them you end up dumping in multiple soy sauce packets in just to get some flavor. Because they hold my heart with the dumplings I dont want to be too harsh a critic

I just placed another order and I have to say, their rice is excellent, and the shrimp and chicken soup is delicious!

The chicken was tough and dry, so we didn’t eat it at all. The rice was fine, and the egg rolls were fantastic. The Lo 41 Beef Lo Mein was great, as always! We ordered three No. 23 meals, which included Sesame or Orange Chicken, but the chicken was the only disappointing part.

I wish I could give less than one star. They sent the wrong items, and half of my order was incorrect. I had avoided this restaurant for years because of a past cleanliness issue, but I decided to give them another chance. That was a mistake, and I won't be coming back again.
