Halls Fish Shop - Hambleton

I’d give the cod 5 out of 5, crispy, golden batter and white flaky fish, cooked perfectly. Chips were a little pale for me. Lady let me pick the fish I wanted as I like mine extra crispy!

Takeaway fish and chips were very greasy. Mushy peas awful...tasted sweet. Staff not that friendly and still operating covid restrictions with one person allowed in at a time. Wouldn't get fish and chips from here again.

Would you like to eat these for your tea??? No fish in the soggy batter!! Chips also soggy!!! Don't know why we keep giving them another chance. Second picture is what my husband left. in the bin!!! Mine went in the bin straight away!!!

Can’t beat Halls for quality, quantity and superb fish it’s a must if you visit Bedale. Go on be naughty you won’t be disappointed

Amazing cooked on a traditional way. Highly recommended and cannot wait to go back. Wish they were open Sunday!
