Contribuiți la feedbackI went there with some friends because we were gonna go to a concert on my birthday. We had travelled from Oslo and just wanted some food, but none of us were VERY hungry. The plan was to share two dishes and get a naan each. But that wasn’t allowed. We HAD to buy a dish each and the waitress called it «spiseplikt» in norwegian which means that we were obligated to eat our own dish. Ended up paying like 350 NOK for food that was okay but with terrible service at the restaurant. None of the workers even smiled to us apart from one of the guys who was a tall man with a moustache and little hair. He was the only nice one there! We asked if they had halal food and they didn’t. We don’t mind that AT ALL but they could have said no with a smile on their face and more like «sorry we don’t have that but we have a lot of vegetarian options». The guy just said «no» when we asked without smiling. When we were gonna pay I registered that they hadn’t taken money for my mangolassi so I told the nicer guy about it. He added it on the bill but didn’t even say thanks for being honest and letting them know. If I was a restaurant owner I would have said thanks to someone for being honest, and maybe even given them the thing for free. Like if I hadn’t let him known I wouldn’t have paid anyway. So it would be a nice gesture to say thanks and let me get it for free/cheaper. BUT AT LEAST SAY THANKS, even if you’re not gonna give it for free. I didn’t mind paying for it (or else I wouldn’t have let him know), but I minded the fact that they didn’t even appreciate my honesty. I love Indian food and I have never experienced anything like this before. Not going back.
This a hidden pearl for lovers of Indian food. Ask for hot food and you are actually served hot food. Most Indian restaurants in Norway tend to use less spices. We had different korma and masala dishes with lamb and beef. All good, and served with steamy rice and delicious nan bread. We chose Norwegian beer over the the too pricy Indian beer they offered. Also the desserts were great.
We are a family of five. We ate for about 400 dollars, and my little girl wanted to buy some icecream. My daughter bought a McFlurry as a special treat. While I was about to pay my bill our waiter told my girl at 7 years old that she did something wrong and we were terrible people who bought McFlurry at another restaurant.. Three other guys got involved in the discussion and told me that I was the most terrible guy they ever had met because I got upset about the treatment of my girl age 7... my advice: go somewhere else. The food is not that good, but the service is like harassment
Food always taste so good . Feel like you in India . Profesional staff. Warmly welcomed. Remember your preferences. You can’t get that anywhere in Hamar .
Cosy atmosphere with great service. The food came fast in spite of a full restaurant. The food was excellent.
