Bella Luna - Halsnaes

We had chos n this restaurant as it was close by and the menu looked good and it had some good reviews. We were a bit surprised to find it empty except for two other guests but we stayed The starters were ok and the pasta main dishes so so which was why I gave it 2 stars the filet beef I had ordered medium rare arrived rare and was of such a bad cut that it was literally not chewable I returned it and asked for another piece but with the right cooking the same meat was returned almost 10m later totally over cooked so it was inedible!!! When I then pointed this out the chef/owner got extremely upset raised his voice and pointed his finger saying I should tell the waiter how I wanted my meat cooked when I replied I had he got even more upset shouting that he had never had anyone complain to h before and that I would be banned from coming there ever again ....... not that I would want to but seriously who behaves like that .... we were all speechless the waitress apologized for his behavior and was very nice but of course the whole meal was ruined. I also just want to mention that i have a background in hotel management with a degree from Switzerland hence I really do know my foods and meats : So if you still go after reading this beware of the owner !

With a limited choice in Liseleje we took a chance on Bella Luna. So glad we did. Welcome was warm and the food was excellent, fresh ingredients and well cooked.

We had a great meal here, ideal food to have after a long walk in these beatiful woods. Friendly service and a lovely terrace

Very delicious food. Service was okay. The service was friendly, but not so often at the table to ask if we still need something. Prices were okay.

Did the right fried fleas, say it was over expectations and at a reasonable price, but more importantly, it was a very friendly service.
