Sunrise Cafe - Hallstead

This is a tiny hole in the wall Cafe and some little town. The food was surprisingly good The prices were okay but the restaurant staff was super friendly. Kind of felt like I was in Mayberry.

Our breakfast took over an hour to come, with several sides missing, no apologies or checking in on us about the food, no similes. Seems like a local place that’s only welcoming to locals? Everyone was white, people who arrived after us were served first, given friendly greetings and apologies, got great service. Cute place and the food was ok, not great. Dietary restrictions: No gluten free celiac disease awareness

Went in for breakfast today with my partner. It was small, cute and definitely a small town vibe. Food took extra time but it was well worth the wait and the staff was so kind. We didn’t mind the wait at all. We actually didn’t even notice because we were enjoying our time out. Thanks for the great meal!
