My second experience here wasn't so great. the barista uses milk in my man and my hot chocolate, although I expressly said mandelmilch and she has recognized me. to the happiness Hubby has watched and brought them to their attention. she wasn't rude or something, but she said she didn't remember asking for mandelic milk. and then she changed her story and said she remembers that we ask her for one, but nevertheless she both made her with milk, so that don't sense. she apologised and fixed the mistake, but it felt like a lot to talk out when it was clearly her fault, and then the hot chocolate tasted bitter and terrible and doesn't like chocolate. first experience and much remains true: it shop is absolutely stunning both outside and in. Part-café, part-storage food. there are no seats, but as long as it is not excessively busy, it should be good. the caffe is small but has a nice selection of drinks and offers mandelmilch. they keep a small selection of baked goods and has in the rule at least something vegan. the coolest thing is that they are a waste-free time shop and let them know proudly of the plastic bags and coffee sauces that are stored by shopping there. they also sell a good selection of environmentally friendly products, such as feminine hygiene products, bambus toothbrushes, soaps and much more. the bulk foods wall has large glass glasses with everything from beans to good parma vegan cheese to brezel and laundry soap. the load is clean and cozy and there are plants everywhere I love.
This restaurant review is about a brightly lit and welcoming store that offers a variety of essential items and sustainable options that you may not have considered upgrading to before. The reviewer appreciates that every time they shop there, their bill ends up being much lower than anticipated. They also mention how affordable the spices and other items are at this store.
This place makes me wish Frank magazine was still around to do an exposé on them.Begging for money every few months on social media, complaining about only having their employees wages covered under the covid small business relief plan, and I 've heard from multiple people about them not paying local suppliers, and it goes on and on. Can 't believe they haven 't been called out more.At a certain point one must look themselves in the mirror and ask Am I fit to run a business? Am I part of the problem? Is this a failed venture?
This store has so much: food, spices, toiletries, coffee... bring your own container or buy a glass jar for 50cents. Great prices and variety!
