Contribuiți la feedback4 of us had a very nice meal at Suzuki Restaurant earlier this week. We had a selection of wraps and rolls, with some pork gyoza to start. We made a reservation the day before and got a nice private booth. The trade-off was that you couldn't see the restaurant staff easily, and didn't get any breeze (it was a pretty hot day in Halifax). The server warned us the kitchen was a bit backed-up, which was definitely true (about 60 minutes to get our sushi, but our gyoza came out quickly). Overall it was a nice evening and we would definitely go back.
Visited here for dinner. The food was delicious and staff were very friendly. We were able to find street parking right out front. Would definitely recommend!
Went for a late lunch at about 1.45pm. They stop taking orders at 2pm but said that we could stay to relax after the meal for as long as we wanted to. The menu offered so much choice but we settled on a couple of dishes and a bottle of warm saki to have with it. It appeared to be a mix of traditional seating (where you have to take your shoes off) and more modern tables. We chose the traditional seating. The service was excellent and not overly attentive. The staff were friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable and the food was absolutely delicious - I wish I had eaten there more than just once. Whilst predominantly fish there were a few vegetarian options too.
I go here about once a month. Always very good sushi. Its very traditional Japanese inside. No whipped topping on any sushi rolls. Just good food. Highly recommend this place.
My boyfriend and I absolutely love sushi and decided to try out a new place. After seeing all of the good reviews for Suzuki, we decided we'd give it a try and we're so glad that we did. They have the best sushi in Halifax by far. It's a little pricier than Wasabi House, but the quality of sushi definitely makes it worth it. Be sure to make a reservation before going though as the restaurant isn't very big!
