Silong Express - Halifax

Another great recommendation from my friend, one of the top 25 Filipino restaurants in Canada! It took us a bit to find it, it’s a bit hidden. But once we got in you could smell the aroma of the food. Great service, very friendly, and a great reminder of home. I always love supporting my people and getting a taste from home.

Always consistent with regards to the quality of their food. Even after almost a week in our fridge, taste still the same. Downside is they are always late. Funny though, people (including me) still go back to have their meal here regardless of being not on time and the parking is so tight. But you have to understand the situation, only 2 people runs the resto, the chef and the boss. And at the end of the day, it is the food and the good personality of the owner matters really.

Greatest food with low prices. Nice staff. Discount on pork skewer every Sunday.

We got a fried tilapia for take out and it was so good! Would definitely come back to try more food. It’s best to call in ahead of time to make sure they have what you want.
