Service is excellent, but it was a bit of a long wait for our appetizer had brushetta- could have used some red wine vinegar, or something more to oumph it up , as well as for our pizza's.<br/ <br/ We had the meat lovers which I wouldn't recommend, and the other one was a vegetarian one ricotta cheese,etc.. and it was much tastier.<br/ <br/ Predominantly everything on their menu is vegetarian, the crust are thin, but good. But, if you are a meat lover, this is probably not your place to go.
I am not sure what pizza some of the reviewers below had, but I eaten at Salvatore's for over 10 years and I have been rarely disappointed. Sometimes the crust is softer than I like but, that happens once in a while. The cheese is outstanding, very high quality. The sauce is delicious, perfectly spiced. The toppings are alway yummy. They have one of the best pizza crusts I have ever eaten. The sandwiches are outstanding, the ham hero and meatball hero are truly incredible.
Get the meatball sub!!. For $10 you can go to Subway and get well, a regular boring sub, or you can can go to Salvatore's and get what will in all likelihood be the tastiest sandwich you will ever eat for the same price. You can't eat this thing standing up, your knees buckle! Homemade garlic bread, sliced homemade meatballs, tomato, olives and cheese cooked to perfection in the pizza oven.
The thin crust pizzas brushed with olive oil are incredibly authentic.
The pizza was delicious and the staff was very friendly.
