PG's - Halifax

I have been wanting to visit this restaurant for a while now and I'm so glad I finally did today! For lunch, I ordered the chicken platter, which was delicious.

I visited this restaurant for breakfast on a couple of Saturday mornings by myself during the summer around 9am. Finding street parking can be difficult, so it is recommended to arrive early.

To start, I was a big fan of this restaurant when they were located in Scotia Square's food court. Unfortunately, they were not included in the recent update to the space.

Staying at a stuffy hotel close by, this was a welcome change - yes, it's basic, but unpretentious, friendly and they serve honest food at even honester price. Classic bacon and eggs, and the homefries are as good as other reviewers have commented. Great breakfast and great value.
