If you turn around halifax, you can ring a quench that can only be filled with an ice cold beer. good selection of ounce designs meets the point. great friendly staff and courtesy. incapable of tasting, but menue looked reasonable.
Everyone is a critic. midtown is a family facility that is so much part of a visit to halifax for me as to see the tattoo. it is not chic, it is not pretentious, it is not above the tip in any wise. eating is more reasonable, short-ordered dug, filling a hole and a good price. you do not go in and get lobsterbisque or pasta, but if you want to eat good, fast, reasonable, this is the place. the beer is always cold, and if they give attention and show the young a bit respectful, they will get to know them (and their order) incredibly fast. I only come there every year, but by my third visit on my first trip they brought my beer to the table, as they sat me and asked me how I wanted my steak and vulture, without having caused it. they are efficient, friendly and love to see that they come back. a kumpel of me is a regular during tattoos, and he got them to a kind of friend egg sandwich they all considered the corbett two years later, I visited, by myself, and asked for a corbett sandwich. and they remembered me, my friend, and that sandwich. the world needs more places like midtown.
Fun bar with great food. for fried paprika, one must be in halifax. the table went with the roaring ham special, burger and fish and chips. all were great with local halifax beer accompanied.
My husband and I decided to have dinner here before a Mooseheads game. Although there was a short wait for a table, the service was quick and the staff was friendly and professional. The food came out promptly and was not only delicious but also reasonably priced. I would definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone going to an event in downtown Halifax.
