Mary's Place Cafe Ii - Halifax

We came for the vegan breakfast options. The tofu skillet was fantastic. We got gluten free bread with it which was tasty and crunchy. Since the home fries have gluten the server recommended we substitute potato Pattie’s and those were excellent too. They were similar to hash browns but not as greasy. The VLT was delicious as well. The highlight is the vegan bacon from Real Fake Meats. Possibly my favourite vegan bacon.

Excellent place. Good service Looking for a down home made kind of breakfast brunch or lunch, this is the place for you. Owner was super friendly. Will be back. LOVED my meal.

I'm always looking for where the locals eat... found the perfect spot for breakfast right here. Excellent food. Very reasonable prices. It's not a fancy place but the staff are fantastic and care about their customers. Highly recommended and will definitely be here again on my next trip to the city.Parking: I got lucky and found down a paid parking spot on the street out front. My elderly mother accompanied me and accessibility was easy for her with ramp access and wide doors.Wheelchair accessibility: Small ramp into the entrance from the street. Unfortunately, no signed parking allotted out front on the street.

Nice breakfast and coffee place! You get served with a smile and even the owner took time to ask if we were pleased and to discuss with us.
