Jim's Family Seafood Restaurant

Undercooked mozza sticks and really bad main dish. It was so bad I sent it back and didn't bother ordering anything else. My three year old wouldn't even eat his fries because they were that bad. My friend ate his dish because he was starving but even that was pretty bad. But at least his was hot. Server was great tho. Until she walked away and we could hear her talking about us. And how we didn't like our food. Really dirty bathrooms to. Over all awful experience and would definitely never recommend this place to anyone ever.

Our server was fine, but I was less than impressed with the food. The burger was probably no more than 3 oz, overcooked on one side. The salad was mainly lettuce stuffed into a little bowl and the fries were warm, not hot. I did ask for and receive replacement fries, so I appreciate that.Nothing tasted that good, just fairGiven my disappointment I would not recommend this place.

On our recent visit to Halifax, we stopped at Jim's for lunch. The sandwiches were delicious and fresh. The home made coconut cream pie was awesome! The service was quick and the hostesses were pleasant. Great place for lunch!Parking: This restaurant is very popular and parking can be a challenge during busy hours! We were patient and found a spot!

What a nice place to dine! Excellent food, a beautiful view of the basin along with great friendly staff makes a wonderful place to go! Highly recommended! PS I even got to see one of my students from a number of years ago. Will definitely be returning.Kid-friendliness: We had a special needs child with us and the staff made sure our needs were well looked after.

Just ordered through DoorDash , I got the hot turkey ? and all I gotta say is “WOAHHHHH” the chicken gravy was so unreal, honestly wanted to drink it.? turkey was so fresh and delicious, the mash potatoes were like grandma made them ! Overall amazing ? been going to Jim’s for awhile and it hits every single time !! (Also I forgot to take a pic cause it was so good , so here’s the photo I took half way through ?
