In Spring Fusion Buffet Restaurant

This is a nice place, very clean and the dinner reviews are clearly good. I saw "buffet" outside and only when I sat down and looked over at the buffet space was it clear there is no lunch buffet - look at my picture there isn't another soul in here. It's totally empty - I should have just left then. There is a lunch menu, it's 90% Thai. Not fusion. So I ordered the standard Pad Thai and it was almost confusing how I could see the food but not taste it - bland to the point that I'm angry for not leaving. The Tom Young soup has such tiny prawns. Honestly don't come here for lunch. I have heard from hotel staff that the dinner is great value and taste - perhaps different crew in the day?

We went for the hot pot buffet. It was amazing!We were unsure of how everything worked, but it was truly an amazing experience. The kids loved being able to cook their own food, as did we.The taste was fantastic and the atmosphere was beautiful.We would truly go again. This was not a one time deal. The price was fair as well, especially for a downtown eatery.

A late lunch, and only the menu of Thai offerings - they were OK, if bland and for a Thai, completely odd. The buffet had been cleared away, but was clearly plentiful; the menu items less so.

We spent our labour day weekend in Halifax. We walked pass this restaurant in the first night, went in and decided to go for all you can eat hot pot. We chose two base soups and ordered a dish of beef, lamb and shrimp. Because these 3 items are not included in "all you can eat". I think beef and lamb were worth to order, but shrimp was not peeled so I didn't enjoy them. There are many choices and variety in the buffet. We are happy with most of items in the buffet. When the base soup got lower later, we asked to add more, but we were charged for "add more". I'd not recommend to order tea because we barely drank our tea. Tea seems not go along well with hot pot.

I went to the all you can eat and there is a note, if you waste you will be charged, fair enough, but if you don't like the dish, don't tell me you are going to charge for it. When I refused she told me not to order something if I won't like it, really! Don't worry, I won't be coming back. A course in customer service would be advisable.
