Halifax Seaport Farmers' Market

I had my first visit to FM at its new location at Pier 23, and I was truly impressed. The selection of fresh produce, baked goods, artisan food products, and displayed artwork was outstanding. I picked up a massive blueberry roll and savored half of it, along with a delicious bowl of seafood chowder for lunch.

This place truly embodies the spirit of a farmers market. The atmosphere is inviting, the layout is well-organized, and the selection of products is amazing. About 30% of the vendors offer local spirits, another 30% provide delicious baked goods, and the remaining 40% include a diverse range of items, from cheese to clothing and beard balms. The flow of the market is enjoyable, and it’s not too crowded. It's definitely worth stopping by!

I stopped by this Farmer's Market before returning to Toronto, and I truly enjoyed the welcoming atmosphere. I especially want to highlight Sable Shortbread for their delicious Father's Day souvenir treats!

This is a fantastic place to savor coffee and pastries, including a variety of gluten-free options. Although the number of vendors is limited, there are several selections of fruits and vegetables, as well as prepared dishes like pierogies and samosas. The coffee shop at the entrance offers outstanding Americanos.

What a delightful spot! I anticipated a more extensive menu since we visited for lunch, but every dish we sampled—lobster roll, chowder, Korean dog, coffee, and cookies—was simply outstanding!
