Chop Steakhouse Halifax

Excellent eating with excellent service from a beautiful server. we were four seniors and found the noise level very annoying – difficult to converse. this was our first visit, reserved before a week, and we would certainly return, but only if we could be sure of a “smooth” location in the restaurant. it is not sure that it is a good decision to calculate an additional $3,50 for the Bernaise sauce on a $44 filet mignon. Birthday dessert was very well done.

This was our first time visiting and both the service and food was amazing. Mackenzie was amazing. She was so friendly, informative and came back to check on us to make sure we were satisfied with every part of our meal. You are very fortunate to have such a positive employee where satisfaction is her #1 priority. We will definitely be returning again soon.

We were in town on business and were looking for a nice place to have dinner and booked at Chop. The ambiance was lively, food was delicious and service was impeccable. We will definitely come back next time we’re in town.

Had the cod. Tasteless, obviously not fresh. I expect more from a restaurant with access to fresh fish . Beef very pricy for what you get.
