Bistro le Coq - Halifax

This place is amazing! It was my husbands birthday brunch and we wanted a special dining experience. Our waitress was outstanding and recommended dishes for us that were fabulous! The quiche of the day with ham and mushrooms, the duck confit salad , tuna tartare- all so good! My husband had the steak sandwich for brunch and thought it was great. After we shared dessert we were planning our next visit. The service, food and atmosphere of this bistro make it a real gem!

My family and I came here from out of town and had THE best meal. My grandfather has mobility issues as he's in a wheelchair, and they were wonderfully accommodating. Everything from the service, staff, food, and ambiance were excellent. The community and atmosphere of Bistro Le Coq are divine and if youre in downtown Halifax you should definetly eat here.

As far as I'm concerned, this is the best restaurant in Halifax right now. The staff are amazing, the restaurant itself is gorgeous, and most importantly the food is amazing. I've never had a bad meal there!

The food, cocktails, and wine at this restaurant are excellent. It is definitely one of the top places to eat and drink in Halifax.

One of the nicest brunches I've had in awhile. I was kicking myself that I hadn't tried this place out sooner. Our server (Ali? was also wonderful.
