So this is exactly a sample of the most desperate thing in Slovak gastronomy. They are playing at a pizzeria, but the pizza could not even be eaten as it was inedible, it was completely dried out even with the side dish on it. Maybe the Italian pizza master fell asleep next to it or it was only baked by the auxiliary force for cleaning. Normal food served in a pasta plate looked pretty funny too. The staff nailed it even when complaining about the pizza with their arrogant behavior. Gastronomy is probably doing well in Slovakia, when the staff kicks out the customer from the restaurant when complaining about food that was inedible️ Or was there such a great support for gastronomy during the covid pandemic that even today restaurants live on it️️️ I honestly he was ashamed of your restaurant before visiting from abroad, but at least they had an experience....which they would not have experienced at home in CH.

Since the first restaurant we stopped at was full, with a waiting time of 1 hour, we continued on and stopped at Zbrojnica. Upon entering, we were greeted by fish and turtles from the neglected, cloudy water, which did not make a good impression from the first moment. At the time of the weekend lunch, there was one table of guests in the restaurant and it was empty. Despite the strange, mournful atmosphere, we stayed. We received menus from the waitress and after opening them we began to understand the emptiness. This business has been dormant for at least 2 decades and is apparently surviving the last one. The limited menu of a few fried dishes and pizzas with very strange names forced us to order only the broth, one slaw and one fried cheese with fries for the kids. Even though we wanted to eat it as soon as possible and at once, they brought the cheese much later. In addition, with a strange tartar sauce , which looked more like cheap sour cream mixed with pieces of red capsicum and not like the mayonnaise sauce that everyone knows. The broths and cabbage soup were also standard, although the cabbage soup was probably flavored with tomato paste. All in all, a very unfriendly place with even more unfriendly service and food from the 90s, where you will sometimes be more embarrassed than the service itself. Ordinary municipal restaurants, anywhere in Slovakia, have a better and more modern menu and a significantly better atmosphere than this strange place.
