Garfield's Pub - Halfway

The server kelis was great went out of her way to ensure that we where happy and it was my wife birth day and got them to sing happy birthday i will be back.

Garfields at the Valley Mall Hagerstown has to be the worst service and worst food I've experienced since my arrival in Maryland 4 years ago. I had to ask for a spoon to stir my coffee and the spoon provided was some type of ice cream spoon with about an 8 inch handle. I asked for a burger without pickles and onion, it came with both, and the paltry amount of fries was pathetic. My daughters med-rare steak was well done except in the very middle, the second steak served was not much better, and if I may ask, what type/cut of meat do you use, I have been in the restaurant business and I could not identify the cut. My wifes simple steak and cheese had no taste, so she ate about half of it because we were all hungry. My bottom line, this particular establishment needs to relook their business from the bottom up, our waitress's skills were poor to not even realize I had no spoon. Hire a cook, because whoever is in the kitchen does not rate being called a chef. If this is what Garfields calls sweet tea it needs to be permanently removed from the menu and the owner served or shown what sweet tea really taste like.....Sadly, my family and I will not return to Garfields...this is sad in the aspect that they have a great location, the atmosphere was not too bad, the service was quick, personnel pleasant, and the prices not too bad...but overall just unprofessional....

I order fish and chips. I asked 3 servicers for sauce to go with it and everyone never brought it back to me. Never one ask for refilled on our drinks.

Chris waited on us and provided excellent service. Food/Happy Hour specials are great in this bad economy we love to save money when we can. Actual food was delicious, we eat at Garfield's at least once a week. I recommend this place to anyone who would like to have a nice meal at reasonable prices.

This takes inexpensive to a new level. The food tastes all like it was all warmed over or microwave. The service was so slow for lunch we were there for 2 hours. It Is Just A Really Bad Choice.
