Customer service is great. The managers who move seem to be a little creepy, but this is the minority. Very helpful and appreciate all organic products.
The flower department tried to charge me twice as much because they asked to combine two bouquets together for something that was $26 I was charged $52. I asked to speak to a man, and he was also rude and told me that the safeway policy is and so they earn money there. I've never been charged to any other safeway. Arrogant rude manager, who I really don't think was the manager, but pretended the flower dept lady went up again. Very sad service. I pampered all afternoon. Terrible will not return!!
Very rude employee EVEN if you are nothing but polite and respectful. If you ask a worker politely whether they can help you, just go directly from you! When someone finally answers one of your questions, they are very condescentrating and sound irritable. Also, two things I bought turned out to be rotted: this fruit plate thing and a can of oysters. This is a biohazard. I'm not buying from there anymore. The safeway in Pacifica is better than this one.
I have visited many Safeway locations in my life, but this one stands out as the best! Compared to others in San Francisco, it is well-stocked, organized, and clean. The staff is friendly, and the cashiers are fast and efficient. The deli can be slow depending on how many people are working, but I don't mind waiting for their delicious fried chicken deal. The parking is spacious and the store is open 24 hours. While there may be better grocery stores out there, this Safeway is good enough for me. Happy shopping!
