Mezza Luna - Half Moon Bay

As someone who travels across the country and enjoys trying new restaurants, I must say that I was disappointed with my experience here. The table was not clean as it should have been. While the bruschetta was well seasoned and fresh, it could have used a bit more vinegar and cheese. The meatballs appeared small and had a texture that suggested they were frozen, but the sauce was delicious. The Caesar salad was not cold and lacked freshness. Overall, I am unlikely to return to this restaurant.

I was treated to lunch by family at this Italian restaurant. I ordered the New York steak cooked to medium perfection. Others at the table ordered pizza and more. The food was delicious and even the bread basket was outstanding. I highly recommend this restaurant.

The staff at this restaurant is highly professional, the decor is lovely, and they serve generous portions of delicious food. The Mista salad was excellent, full of vegetables and crisp lettuce with a tasty dressing. The Fettuccine Alfredo was also delicious, with the sauce perfectly blended with the pasta. This was our fourth dinner visit and we would definitely come back again on our next trip to Half Moon Bay!

I'm hoping it was just an off night, but the food certainly was. I ordered the carbonara, which came a little salty, definite scorched taste along with being dry.
