We enjoyed eating here a few weeks ago! Came from Jasper to the pharmacy up there because they had my medicine in stock and decided to grab dinner while we were in town. I ordered the steak and mashed potatoes, GREAT! I can't wait to come back. I have caught myself craving those mashed potatoes lately lol. Here for a high school football game, and stopped in for a pregame meal. Service was outstanding not just in efficiency and speed, but very friendly and helpful. Food was awesome. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, and was very juicy with great flavor. The onion rings are huge and very good obviously freshly prepared And the baked potato was cooked all the way through which is a problem in some other places but not here. If you are in the Haleyville area, I highly suggest a stop at Russell’s.
