Zane's Simply Shrimp - Haleiwa

We were looking for the popular shrimp truck on the North Shore during our recent vacation and stumbled on this hidden gem. Don’t be fooled by the long line-up at their competitor’s truck because Zane’s is definitely comparable and absolutely delicious. We went with the half-fish-half-shrimp plate with garlic butter shrimp. Yummy!

Absolutely fantastic. One of my favourite things I've eaten on this trip. I was so sad to see so few people sitting outside while the other end of the food truck park was so busy. The butter garlic shrimp was amazing, the kids loved it too despite constantly telling me they don't like garlic at home. The fish and chips were so good my mother in law ordered it even after eating from a certain famous food truck in the area!Kid-friendliness: The attendant working when we went was so friendly and patient, she gave us extra plates and forks to make it easier to share with the kids which we really appreciated!

We decided to visit a local food truck, and we were very pleased with our choice. The portion sizes and food quality were excellent. Both the fried shrimp and fish were cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy. The hot and spicy shrimp was also fantastic; the sauce was so delicious that we ended up dipping our other items in it. Additionally, the lady working there was very nice.

I was here 9 years ago and had to come back because it was so good! Just as good if not better this time around!!! The pineapple coconut shrimp is so tasty and the portion size is huge!

I returned home from San Diego to Honolulu for a week to spend time with family. The first place I wanted to visit was the North Shore, famous for its shrimp trucks, and I can't believe how much I've been missing! I decided to try Zane's, where I had the pineapple and coconut shrimp, and it was fantastic. The staff was incredibly nice, friendly, and welcoming. The atmosphere was wonderful, the vibe was great, the weather was perfect, and the food was simply delicious. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in town!
