Uncle Bo's Haleiwa

We went to uncle Bo’s because a friend said it was good and just looking to relax with the kids. We sat outside because the music inside was so extremely loud and there’s a little grass area the kids played in and that was nice. The food was good except for the stomach aches my husband and I both came home and had. So disappointing. If you eat healthy don’t go here they are clearly full of garbage ingredients. The food came out in like 10 mins which is great but I can only assume everything is out of a box /frozen and premade. Why are restaurants like this now? Quality of food is just down the drain. Like eating at McDonald’s at 4 star restaurants. If I’m going to go out and spend 100+ on food plus $8 coronas (which is just insane) I expect to not come home and feel like garbage, just another restaurant in Haleiwa I’m disappointed with. Put quality in food again.

I recommend this place 100%! We ordered Bo's big nachos and the Boca-rota. It was amazing. The nachos used sweet shoyu for a really unique and interesting taste. For dessert we got Hobo's and it was another winner. Staff were great and let us know that the two things we were ordering were huge so it would probably be enough food for the three of us. I already can't wait to go again next time I'm in the area.

I had a caprese “salad” to go. $18.80 for half an unripe tomato and 4 slices of mozzarella, it's shameful. Thick or not, we expect a quantity adapted to the price The service was pleasant and very fast (at the same time considering the dish… but unfortunately that does not excuse the price.

My wife and I drove from Mililani for a date night at Uncle Bo 's Haleiwa, expecting a nice evening out. We checked online and saw that they close at 9 p.m. However, when we arrived at 8:05 p.m., we were turned away because the last call was at 8 p.m. If you don 't plan to serve patrons past 8 p.m., please change your closing time online to reflect that. The only reason I 'm giving 2 stars is because the hostess was very kind and gave us a free pupu card for our next visit as an apology. But honestly, it went straight to the trash. The experience left a sour taste in my mouth, no matter how 'ono the food might be. Disappointing, to say the least.

They were Not busy when went in. Waited 15 min for a server, another 20 min for drinks! We saw our drinks on the bar and we were tempted to go get them ourselves because it took so long. We even had to go up and get our own napkins. Some of the dishes were really great, and then some of them were cold and not very tasty. In particular, the shrimp was cold and not tasty at all. I would not go back to this restaurant.
