Hakodate Motomachi Coffee

Really cute place that actually has some parking out front. While I really enjoyed the atmosphere they only serve (high end) drip coffee. Which is GREAT if you like drip, but I don't. They don't serve any espresso, but you can get a milk coffee and pretend its the same thing. If I liked drip, this would have been 5 stars

Worst experience in Hokkaido so far. The staff were very unfriendly towards us as foreigners hell, I would call discriminatory. They were decidedly cold but only to us as if to make us feel different from other guests. Before we ordered, what the waitress told us was that we could not take any photos here (when we hadn 't taken any). And I said told because the waitress didn 't ask us, but just coldly told us what was prohibited. I don 't know what history they had here with foreigners, but to anyone, this would be an extremely unpleasant encounter.

Both the ice and hot coffee were brewed to perfection! we ordered the bitter ice cream and mild hot coffee. the cheesecake and pumpkin cake were also super! definitiw recommended. so thankfully we went ahead, although there are no reviews

Recommended. Quiet atmosphere and nice place to rest. Good coffee and hot chocolate. Drip coffee only : you can choose on the menu the weight of coffee beans so adjust your cup according to your taste (light to strong ! . I would have liked to watch the way barista prepares the dripping coffee (really amazed about this ! but unfortunately she did not allowed me stay near counter … so no discussion.

In the middle of the famous hachimanzaka. I couldn't resist that this sweet looking little coffee house lasts in a cold windy day in a fairytale. the menu is quite limited, but the drip coffee was great. they roast coffee beans in house. my wife also liked the pumpkin cake. in contrast to the comments of some people the service of the personal was comfortable, although I am not a foreigner.
