Harbor - Haines

Nice restaurant with a nice view. Despite a lot of work, the staff was courteous and very friendly. The food was very good ?? and the beer too.

The halibut and salmon fish and chips are fantastic, along with a Caesar salad and a few Boatright Bourbons to form a wonderful meal. The service was fast and courteous and the food hot and fresh. The only complaint; they played modern Country music.

There were 4 of us, we were seated quickly and the waitress, even though she was very busy, never acted rushed or overwhelmed.. I had the fish and chips.. They were probably the best I’ve ever had. Everyone in our group gave their food thumbs up.. Nice find in a small town.

Best seafood we have had in a LONG time! We visited this restaurant two years ago and remembered how good the food was. This time we were happy to find out it was still just as good. Halibut and chips were amazing! So hot, moist and delicious! Best we have ever had! Simple decor was charming with excellent views of the harbor. Staff was very attentive-would highly recommend this restaurant!

Went for dinner and wasn’t told the wait for food would be at least 2 hours until after we ordered our drinks. Waitress was snarky and service poor due to being understaffed. . I’m sure the food would have been excellent, but based on our experience…would not definitely not recommend this restaurant.
