Tavern On The Dunes - Haines City

I played seven courses over six days, and this one was the best of them all. The layout is incredible, and the conditions are great. The staff were all very friendly. The course is quite challenging, but there are enough tee boxes to help you find one that suits your skill level, allowing you to enjoy the experience. The greens are the best I've encountered anywhere. Overall, it's top-notch in every aspect.

This course is a must to visit! More than 200 bunkers, but very pleasant to play and the layout is only in my taste. This time pretty windy and that made things harder.

Course is a gem. Exceeded our expectations and greens were the best we played during a recent trip to the area. Pace of play was bad but we also started at 2:30 on a Saturday.

It's one of those rare Florida courses with significant elevation changes, rolling hills, and nearly 200 bunkers—some of which are massive and deep. Almost all the bunkers were well-maintained. The greens were fast, and the pace of play was just right. A word of caution for high handicappers like me: this course can be quite challenging if you're prone to inaccurate shots, and you may find yourself with very few good lies. However, if you play wisely, it’s fair. This course has quickly become one of my favorites in Florida, despite the challenges its layout presents. I highly recommend it as one of the best public courses in the greater Orlando area.

Fantastic experience! The condition of the course was excellent with a great layout. The greens provided a good challenge while remaining fair. The pace of play was perfect. The staff was very friendly. I will definitely play here again!
